Hey There! I’m Selina Jane (also @selinajane on Twitter). Nice to meet you!

I am the face and brains behind Sublime Marketing. After more than a decade (okay 12 years… shhh) in marketing and advertising, I made the move into consulting and have been running Sublime successfully for over 3 years now. My focus is on emerging media and all forms of digital marketing with a heavy pulse on creativity. I have always been a big computer geek and internet nerd, even before working in the agency world. But it was agency life (working in the salt mines) that gave me my big brand wings and allowed me to gain experience working on large scale integrated programs. I also became accredited in Direct Marketing with The Canadian Marketing Association, which rounded out my marketing education and experience.

I was one of the first few consultants in the West end doing social media consulting in early 2008 and have continued to make that a large focus of my work offering; creative social strategy, blogger outreach programs, integrated campaigns, and content strategy among traditional marketing services. I am also a paid author (yes I actually get paid to write) and make copywriting, branding and ideation a huge part of my daily working life.

I love my clients like I love my family. We do dinners, have drinks, laugh at silly jokes, and share each others pains and glories. I connect with people who are like-minded and who care as much as I do about authenticity.

Sublime is the embodiment of everything I am. The perfect harmony and fusion of creativity, technology, collaboration, and innovation. I feel lucky that I get to wake up every day and do what I do. Being in flow with the universe is a really nice feeling.
